Counseling Services
I offer counseling services for individuals, couples, and families either in person and through online. I speak both English and Japanese.
My counseling approach is based on Process Work, which views life’s issues and challenges not only as problems but also as opportunities through which new possibilities, perspectives, and life styles are trying to emerge. Therefore, I focus on the client’s potential, strengths, and possibilities rather than her problems or shortcomings. I believe that creative solutions to life challenges lie within the person.
Depending on the client’s process and interest, I also use meditation, visualization, movement, drawing, role-playing, and other creative mediums during counseling sessions.
If you are interested in learning more about my approach, please go to Process Work.

Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider, and services may be covered in part by your insurance plan. If you wish, you may want to call your insurance company and ask the following questions:
- “What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?”
“Is there a limit to the number of sessions I can have in a year?”
- “How much does my plan cover for a Licensed Professional Counselor who is out-of-network?”
- “Do sessions need to be preauthorized?”
